G3 Phone - TalkIP Calling Features

With G3 Telecom's standard TalkIP calling features, you get to manage your calls more efficiently. Take a look at the many ways you can enjoy convenience with G3's TalkIP calling features:

  CALLER ID
Caller Waiting

See who is calling before you decide to answer the phone. TalkIP's Caller ID provides a great way to manage your incoming calls.

Call Behavior

Caller ID will show you the incoming caller's name and number whenever it is available*. This feature requires a display compatible telephone.

*Caller ID may not be available in all areas. Some numbers may not be correctly displayed when calls originate from phones using call blocking features, and certain payphones, cellular phones, business lines or long distance connections.

  CALL WAITING
Call Waiting

Even when you're on the phone, you will be alerted that there is another incoming call. If a second call comes in while you are engaged in an active call, you have the option to answer it.

Activation

If you choose to answer the second call either: press and release a phone's switch hook, or press the flash button. This puts your first call on hold and automatically connects you to your second call.

Call Behavior

The SPA will alert you of the 2nd incoming call by playing a call waiting tone. The person calling will hear normal ringing. You can alternate between calls as often as you like - press the switch hook or flash button again.

Deactivation

Press *70 before placing a call to disable Call Waiting for the length of one call. To deactivate Call Waiting on a pemanent basis (until cancelled by *56): listen for dial tone, press *57. You will hear a confirmation tone.

  VOICEMAIL
Voicemail

Never miss a call or message with TalkIP Voicemail. Let our easy-to-use voicemail handle your incoming calls when you are busy or unavailable.

  AUTOMATIC CALL BACK
Voicemail

Automatic Call Back allows you to place a call to the last number you dialed. If the number called is idle, the call will ring through and complete normally. If not, the busy line will be monitored for up to 30 minutes, or until the line becomes available.

Activation

Listen for dial tone. Press *66. When both lines become idle, the user hears a special ring.

Call Behavior

During the monitoring process the user can continue to originate and receive calls without affecting the Call Return on Busy request.

Deactivation

Listen for dial tone. Press *86.

  CALL RETURN
Voicemail

Dial back the last caller who tried to reach you, whether they left a message or not.

Activation

Listen for dial tone. Press *69 to dial last incoming phone number.

  SPEED CALLING
Speed Calling

Speed Calling lets you easily reach those you call frequently by dialing only one digit. You can program your phone to dial up to eight phone numbers at the touch of a single key.

Activation

Listen for dial tone. Press *74. Dial the single digit code under which the number is to be sotred(2-9). Dial the complete number to be stored. Listen for two short beeps.

Call Behavior

Listen for dial tone. Press a single digit code assigned to the stored number (2-9). Press # to signal dialing complete.

  UNCONDITIONAL CALL FORWARD
Voicemail

Make it easy for people to reach you even when you're on the go. All calls are immediately forwarded to a designated forwarding number so you'll never miss a call.

Activation

Dial 72 followed by the 10 digits telephone number you are forwarding your call to. You will hear short busy tones.

Call Behavior

Unconditional forwarding lasts 24 hours.

Deactivation

Dial 73 followed by the 10 digits telephone number you had forwarded your call to. You will hear short busy tones.

  BUSY CALL FORWARD
Voicemail

If your phone line is busy, you can have calls forwarded to any number you choose so your family, friends and business contacts can always reach you.

Activation

Listen for dial tone. Press *90. Listen for dial tone and enter the phone number you are forwarding to. Activation will be confirmed with two beeps.

Call Behavior

This feature allows the option to divert (forward) calls to any other phone when the primary phone is busy.

Deactivation

Listen for dial tone. Press *91.
