Set Call Type: Dial Through
Determined by the G3 Telecom service(s) or plan(s)you are subscribed in. When you dial a destination number or select one from your contact list, the G3 app dials your outgoing call and routes it through the G3 network. This option is only available for the iPhone.

Set Call Type: VoIP WiFi
Using the WiFi Connection option lets you call without using your regular data plan. When choosing WiFi Connection, ensure that your mobile is actually connected to a WiFi network, otherwise it will count towards you data plan. This option is available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch (with WiFi).

To call using WiFi, go to Settings > select Call Type > and choose VoIP WiFi.

Set Call Type: VoIP Data
Using the Data Connection option will count towards your regular data plan. This option is only available for the iPhone and iPad (with WiFi + 3G).

To call using 3G, go to Settings > select Call Type > and choose VoIP Data.

Access Number:
This is the access number dialed for the network. A local access number and a toll free access number are provided where available. The access number is based on your Location ID which can be changed by selecting 'Update Profile' from the menu and entering a new Location ID.

G3 Password Requirement:
You may use the toll-free number if no local access numbers are available in your area. Authentication is required and you will be prompted to enter your G3 password security.

Your mobile phone number registered with G3 Telecom.

Location ID
By default, it is the first 7 digits of your mobile phone number including Country Code. The access number is based on your Location ID. If you change your Location ID and select 'Update Profile,' the access number will also change according to your new Location ID.

When you Travel

Change your Location ID whenever you travel outside your city or state to ensure that the access number(s) you will be using is local to your area.

For example, if you are traveling to Toronto, you can change your location ID to '1416567':

1416 - Country code + Toronto area code
567 - first three digits of your mobile number (or any 3-digit numbers will do)

Click on 'Update Profile' to edit your Location ID. After entering your new Location ID, click on 'Update Profile' again to retrieve your new local access numbers.

PIN
If you have a G3 SmartCard, enter the PIN found at the back of the card. Leave this portion blank if you do not have one.
